Line Ups

Objectives:
  • To learn about the other members of the team
  • To problem-solve as a team

Procedures:

  • This can be used with face-to-face or virtual teams.  Members will need a device that can access Google Docs or a similar collaborative document.
  • Open the online collaborative document such a Google Doc and type a list of numbers equal to the number of people on your team.
  • Provide the link to all group members.
  • Tell the team you will be calling out a category, and they have to “line up” in order, based on the category.
  • Each person places themselves on the list and moves themselves as necessary.
  • Each team member can only place and move him- or herself.

Categories:
  • Birth Date (month and day)
  • Alphabetical order in order of your middle name
  • Alphabetical order in order of your birthplace
  • Alphabetical order in order of your mother or father’s first name
